Product Management Talent

One of the worst things an organization can do is choose to hire product managers without knowing what problems they solve, what the hallmarks of good PdMs are, and worse, having individuals with no product experience do the scouting and recruiting. Paying agencies and headhunters is expensive and wasteful. This engagement is intended to avoid those unnecessary costs and pain.

I know what to look for because I've done it.

  • Reality Check

  • Region-Specific Salary Analysis

  • Job Description

  • Screen Resumes/Candidates

  • Participate in Interviews (add-on)

  • Mentoring and Coaching for the Hired Individual

Product Manager Coach

It's not uncommon for startups to be severely understaffed and stretched thin. When you bring a product manager into your organization, especially if they're your first product hire, they need to have support from other product people. This engagement is intended to bridge the startup staffing gap and provide continuous support to your product people. The intent here is to provide you with a sort of fractional product manager to assist your product team.

This engagement is also intended to support more junior product professionals in your organization. Specifically, the demands of the PdM role are many and there is typically a learning curve. Leveraging a product coach can help ease that pain for the organization.
